Flamingo Air Appoints Directors of Avionics, Drone Operations

worker-bee-logoFlamingo Air, offering drone, flight and airline ground education out of Cincinnati’s historic Lunken Airport, announces the appointment of two directors.

William Gibson has been appointed Director of Avionics

Bill worked in Avionics aboard an aircraft carrier in the U.S. Navy. He received the FCC First Class Radio License (now called the GROL) with radar endorsement, and immediately after separation from the service, worked in Avionics at the TWA MRO at Los Angeles International Airport. Bill also was an engineer for GE Aircraft Engines, as well as a flight instructor.

Now working in education, teaching engineering technology and aviation at a Greater Cincinnati college, Bill has received the NCATT Avionics Technician certificate (NCATT AET) with endorsements and also the Master NCATT Instructor Certificate.

Tim Marshall has been appointed Director of Drone Operations

Tim hails from South Africa, and he and his family have been in America since 2009. Tim has been associated with Flamingo Air since 2008.

Tim has a very diverse work background and has been a pilot for more than three decades. He is skilled in Avionics maintenance and Drone operations.
